The Pod Generation The story follows a New York couple, Rachel (Emilia Clarke) and Alvi (Chiwetel Ejiofor), living in a near future where technology has made life more convenient. A rising tech executive, Rachel has landed a coveted position at Womb Center, which offers a comfortable childbirth. With artificial wombs or detachable pods, Alvi, a nature-loving botanist Prefer natural pregnancy. But as Rachel’s AI therapist said, why would that be? “Natural”? Thus began the technologically paved path to parenthood.
